Where We Find This

Rooted in Scripture

Acts 2:42-47

The early church devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer — sharing life together with glad and generous hearts as the Lord added to their number daily.

Matthew 28:18-20

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

John 13:35

“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

What We Believe

Our Basic Beliefs

Doctrine of God

We believe in one God eternally existing as one essence and three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, yet there is one God.

Doctrine of Revelation

God has made Himself known to the world in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures, and creation.

Creation & Providence

We believe that God created the world from nothing and governs all things at all times in all places.

Doctrine of Humanity

We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and possesses intrinsic dignity and worth.

Doctrine of Sin

We believe that sin has fractured all things, leaving the world in desperate need of salvation.

Doctrine of Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

Doctrine of the Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, sent into the world to shine forth the glory of God.

Resurrection & the Kingdom

We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead.

Our Theological Distinctives

These reflect some teachings that distinguish Trinity Baptist Church from other churches who would affirm the basic doctrines above.

Our Mission Statement

“We exist to bear the image of God for the Glory of God.”

We were created in the image of God to bear the image of God. God’s plan for man since the fall has been to restore man from their fallen state. Romans 8:29 reminds us that God’s plan for His people is to conform them to the image of His Son. Therefore, in all we do we seek to bear the image of God in a way that honors and exalts His name. Bringing glory to God is simply lifting up His name in our lives — through our actions and our words — because His name is worthy to be glorified.

Where We Are Now

God has been blessing us tremendously. We want to be a church for all peoples of all ages and backgrounds. There is a good chance you will find someone that you connect and resonate with at Trinity. We have a Vision for who we want to be. Vision can be such a misused term within the church. When we say “vision” we want you to know specifically the direction we are going at Trinity Baptist Church. We know we are not a perfect church. This is why one of the more common things you will hear from us is: “Come Grow With Us”.

Our goal is to grow. But it is not to grow just for the sake of growing. We want to grow into a church that closely resembles God’s design for church. Therefore, our Vision Statement brings together three passages from the Bible that give us a blueprint to follow as a body of believers. With this Vision Statement, we are welcoming our people to evaluate themselves and our church. We want to ask the hard questions. We want to be held accountable to growing as a church that resembles this vision.
