WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Everything we do in Trinity Youth flows from our church’s mission: to be a gospel-driven people devoted to God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, love, generosity, service, praise, and disciple-making to the ends of the earth. Food, games, and an inviting atmosphere get students in the door—but the heart of this ministry is Jesus. Led by youth pastor Jonah Kyle Traylor and his wife Breigh, and supported by devoted parents and young adults, we’re watching God bring real revival in the lives of our students.
OUR SIGNATURE GATHERING
Koinonia
Koinonia means Christian fellowship—and it’s the backbone of our ministry. Every Tuesday night during the school year, students gather for gospel, worship, and Scripture, plus food and games with the college students and young adults who serve them. A student shares the gospel, our youth-led worship team leads, and Jonah Kyle preaches through a book of the Bible. Students break into six small groups before we wrap up with our famous “Talk-o Tuesday” tacos and a late-night game.
In summer, Koinonia becomes Tues-Cruise—swim parties, Commodore’s pizza, watermelon, and a shorter lesson at members’ homes.

LIFE AT TRINITY YOUTH
WEEKLY & MONTHLY RHYTHMS
Beyond Koinonia, there are lots of ways for students to plug in, grow, and belong throughout the week and the month.
Sunday School
Between the two morning services, our students bake fresh muffins in the youth kitchen and dig into a more topical lesson together—a favorite tradition even our graduates come back for.
Youth Yaya
Named after Cajun gumbo, Yaya has a little of everything. Students bake cookies together, learn a weekly memory verse (earn an “onia coin” when you get it down!), share prayer requests, work through partner questions, and close in a time of silent prayer. It’s a relaxed, welcoming rhythm that helps students build real friendships while growing in the Word.
D-Groups
Small discipleship groups where trained young-adult leaders pour deeply into a handful of students at a time—walking through Bible reading plans, Scripture memory, prayer, and honest accountability. It’s where the biggest growth often happens. Contact Jonah Kyle to get plugged into a group.
Tribe Vibe
A fun, themed monthly event—luaus, hoedowns, and more—paired with a short lesson working through the twelve sons of Jacob, one per month, plus Commodore’s pizza. A must-attend!
Guys’ & Girls’ Night
We split the guys and girls for a night out—laser tag or bowling—grab some fast food, then head back for a gender-separated Bible study on the men and women of Scripture. It’s a great, low-pressure space for students to ask the hard questions and go deeper with leaders who care about them.

Adventures That Stick
Some of the deepest growth happens away from home. Each year our students travel together to worship, learn, laugh, and make memories that last a lifetime—whether that’s on a beach, on a college campus, or in a packed arena. Here’s where we’re headed:
D-Now Weekend
A discipleship-focused getaway—recently to the white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores—with breakout sessions, worship, and small-group time led by staff, parents, and chaperones. Students dig into God’s Word together, build lasting friendships, and come home changed.
Fuge Summer Camp
The best week of summer at Centrifuge on the campus of Union University in Jackson, TN. Expect powerful speakers, a full worship band, daily Bible study tracks, recreation, and the famous Mega-Relay finale that the whole camp looks forward to all week.
YEC (Youth Evangelism Celebration)
Our shortest, closest trip—just up the road to Alexandria, LA—packed with high-energy worship, entertainment, and challenging messages. Past concerts have featured artists like Zach Williams, Crowder, and CAIN. It’s the perfect first trip for students new to youth group.

DNow & Youth Camp Through the Years
Koinonia Summer Camp
This was the summer of COVID and all the camps shut down because of it. We decided to put on our own camp that year. Our Pastor Avery Dixon and our missionary from India, Cyril Anthony, served as camp pastors while Jonah Kyle’s group of college friends served as our young adult leaders — for an incredibly fruitful and fun camp where a number of students gave their lives to Jesus and grew in their faith.

Our rustic, coffee-shop-style home base since 1970: a worship stage, living-room lesson space, full kitchen, pool & ping-pong tables, coffee bar, prayer board, and lockers.
